1 IN 10 USED CARS NOW BOUGHT VIA SMART PHONE

Historically high investment purchases and the research done for high investment purchases were only ever done on desktop, you felt more serious, in control, then tablets were introduced, which felt like a hand held desktop. With technology advancements 1 in 10 people are now buying used cars via smart phone.

Buyacar analysis of their current buyer behaviour revealed in the past 12 months used car purchases completed entirely via smart phone have increased by 48.7% compared to desktop or laptops only increasing by 22.1%.

The power is in the smart phone, tablets are no where near as close with only 1 in every 100 sales completed on a tablet. Proving customer experience on smart phones have massively improved and instilled confidence in buyers to make these used car purchases. Car buying has come a long way in the last decade.

Smart phone development and intuitive websites have become a catalysis and suggests that online car shoppers are now more confident than ever to commit to a purchase more quickly.
