Ford - Electrification Strategy
Challenge
Ford wanted to have the ‘most educated salesforce on electric powertrains’.
To help achieve this, and as part of Ford’s electrification strategy, PHM was tasked with developing a suite of videos on Ford’s electrified powertrains; PHEV, MHEV, BEV, FHEV. The aim of these videos was to clearly demonstrate how each electrified powertrain works, and what the customer benefits are.
Solution
We developed these videos in the same creative look and style, using CAD assets to effectively demonstrate how each powertrain works. We worked closely with product experts of each powertrain to ensure content was accurate and the supporting text clear and concise.
The videos were created to be dual purpose - educating sales consultants, but also able to be shown to customers as a good visual way of explaining how a particular electrified powertrain works.
Outcomes
These videos were very well received by Ford’s European markets, with the PHEV video having the quickest market uptake of any learning asset to date. The videos have been popular with many markets, with some choosing to share the videos on their website.
